Welcome to my page. My name is Angel. My pages are about me, my experiences, my thoughts, things I like to do, and my memories.
I was born Sandie Bickham. I changed my name to Angel Winges about 37 years ago. I didn't change it because of my family. I'm very proud of my heritage from the Bickhams, Broos's, and Halls. Great people come from those lines. I changed it because I died and came back changed. I am a Near Death Experiencer. You never come back the same.
Angel defines the person that I am now; strong, self confident, filled with joy and peace, knowing who I am and why I am here. That wasn't Sandie. Sandie was a basket case emotionally. Sandie evolved into Angel. I have never regretted changing my name. I have had so many changes in my life, throughout my life, and Angel is just one of them.
I am 73 years old. And, yes, all of the pics of me in Medieval garb are in the last 4 years. I am a psychic, channeler, clairvoyant, wholistic healer, and near death experiencer. And yes, I talk with so-called dead people. I release ghosts who are unaware that they are no longer in the physical plane.
I am the proud mother of two sons, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. My family and my beliefs are the center of my life. My family continues to grow, and since I plan on being here well into my 100's, I expect it to double in the future.
I was born in Tylertown, MS, moved all over the US with my father and husband's work, lived in Vincenza, Italia for a while, spent 42 years on the West Coast, and finally have settled on the Emerald Coast of Florida. I don't much care for Florida politics, but I love the Gulf of Mexico and Southern hospitality. I fell in love with mountains and redwood forests on the west coast, so it's sometimes difficult to see only flat land and mostly pine trees. Florida has it's own beauty and charm though.
I live 1/2 mile from the Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf is incredible and a source of great energy. The humidity in the summer is brutal, but the rest of the year it is lovely. I love the South in the Spring when all the yards have flowers and the roadsides too. It's a beautiful place to be. All of my family is from the South. It's home. I love flowers and the South is famous for them.
I am single and still waiting to meet the man who will be my life's mate. My family says I am too picky, but I've had plenty of time to know what I need, as opposed to what I want in a relationship, so I can afford to be patient and picky. I don't want to settle for anything less than what I will be happy with. I am contented being single, but having a Beloved would definitely be icing on the cake.Feel free to apply if you are interested. If you're younger than me and love fighting with swords and dressing in armor, you go to the head of the line!
I am bubbly and peaceful within. I love nature and can be moved to tears by the beauty of a hummingbird or a stunning sunset. I talk to/with animals of all ilk. Sadly, I find animals more comforting company than humans all too often. They will love you unconditionally and accept you just as you are without trying to change you. Mine have me well trained. They fill my life with joy. I currently have a toy Chihuahua who is my Service Partner. He is 2 years old and named Bebbe. He keeps me laughing all the time and reminds me that I am loved.
Up until six years ago, I had another Service Partner. I have Chronic Directional Vertigo, which at one time made it very difficult for me to walk without support. Bella Luna showed up on my deck and wouldn't leave. When I couldn't find an owner for her, I adopted her and she trained herself to work with me. She would read my aura and do exactly what I needed when I needed it. She was astonishing! Luna was part white wolf and part white Malemute. She had ice blue eyes and everyone fell in love with her. She was attacked by two dogs while we were walking one day six years ago and had to be put to sleep because of her injuries. I miss her every day and wish I could find another one like her. She was a miracle in my life. I'll be glad to tell you about having a Service Animal.
My family is spread all over the country and is also a source of great pride and joy to me. It's an amazing thing to be 73 years old and have your child tell you that they would never have become the amazing human being they are without your example. It makes the rough times and the heart aches so worth it and just underscores all of the good times and the joy you have shared together. I love them so much. They have both succeeded in spite of me. :-)
I have Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome and Multiple Chemical Illness. That makes life a challenge frequently, but it has also taught me many things about myself and about life in general. More than anything else, it has taught me the blessing of surrender, patience, and balance. I have learned so many things through the process of these diseases. I have also written a booklet for doctors and patients that will help you diagnose, understand, treat, and have a higher quality of life with these diseases. We are finding that most of the time they go hand in hand. If you suffer from these and need information on how to aid your doctor in advocating for you for disability, let me know and I will try to help you.
I am a wholistic healer trained by Roselyn Bruyere, and a Reiki Master. Energy work is such a joy. I would like to teach classes again, so if you live in the Pensacola area and are interested, let me know. I take a very scientific approach to healing. Being able to see energy and auras helps a lot and counseling helps too. We need to know how we contribute to our health or lack of health, and why. That's my job; to help you and teach you.
I am a Shamanic/Buddhist/Gnostic/Druidic/Kitchen Witch. I really believe each person has to find their own unique belief system. I was a Christian minister for 10 years before I discovered paganism and finally found my spiritual home. It serves my soul quite well and I am most happy and content. You'll find information on my site about my beliefs.
I love to design and make "one of a kind" quilts. The colors and patterns coming together are a creative joy for me. I currently have six quilt tops that just need the borders and backing to be put on and they will be finished. There are some pictures of the wall quilts I have made for my family members on my photo page. I have finally become brave enough to attempt a queen sized bed quilt and I will add those photos soon.
I have a lot of things to share in the future. This site is an on-going project of creation. I hope that you will be patient with me and check back frequently to see how it is coming along.
